Kym Trailz and The Toncwave is the project of Kym Trailz and Sean Mooney of The Tomb of Nick Cage. A departure from horror punk and metal, this collaboration returns to the roots of their deathrock, gothic, synthwave and dance beginnings.
Lifelong residents hailing from the swamps of New Orleans, Kym and Sean have been performing for decades in musical acts spanning punk, goth, ska, metal and experimental genres. They have composed for numerous short films, web series, and podcasts.
They draw inspiration from folk horror, westerns, sci-fi and avant garde fillm and literature as well as the dark legends of the city that care forgot.
And The Trees WIll Be My Headstone, their debut album, will be released February 12,. 2024 on the eve of Carnival, in the mystical hours of revelry that precede Mardi Gras Day.
